The Abbey Foundation was established in 1995, with a steadfast commitment to nurturing the creative talents of artists across various disciplines. Since its inception, the Foundation has been dedicated to the development of a residency studio program designed to provide artists with the resources and space they need to explore their craft, innovate, and produce impactful work.
Throughout the years, the Abbey Foundation has evolved, and we have recently completed construction of a new workspace in Boonville, CA. The studio program will serve as a vital support system, offering grants and studio space to emerging and established artists, enabling them to pursue their artistic visions without the constraints often imposed by financial limitations.
The Foundation believes that by investing in artists and their creative processes, it not only enriches the individual artist's journey but also enhances the cultural landscape of Anderson Valley.
